Counsellor Directory

This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Description

Michelle Neaves, Registered Clinical Counsellor RPC. MPCC.(#3129)
Online Talk Therapy Specialist

Welcome! I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with over 30 years of experience in the human services field. At Heart, Mind, and Soul Counselling, I specialise in Online Talk Therapy, integrating neuroscience and neurobiology to make complex brain science accessible and helpful for your healing journey.

Developmental Paradigm and Attachment Theory

My approach is grounded in the developmental paradigm and attachment theory, focusing on how early experiences shape emotional and psychological development. This understanding helps uncover how past experiences influence current behaviour and emotional health, facilitating deeper healing.

Specialisations

Trauma: Addressing past or present traumas to help you find peace and resilience.
Anxiety: Offering strategies to manage and reduce anxiety.
Depression: Providing support to overcome feelings of hopelessness.
Feeling Blue / Fed Up: Helping you navigate low moods and frustration.
Frustration: Developing healthier coping mechanisms.
Personal Development: Assisting in setting and achieving growth goals.
Equine Psychotherapy

I am also a Certified FEEL (Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning) facilitator, working with my horse, Izzy, to offer Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy. This unique approach uses the intuitive nature of horses to provide powerful insights and foster emotional growth.

Why Choose Us?
With a background in Youth Work, Education, Probation, and Child and Family Services, I bring a compassionate, client-centred approach to therapy. My goal is to help you understand yourself from the inside out, promoting healing and personal development.
